Independent's day - The Robina by Robert Loomes & Co

“I’ve found a watch you’ll like”. Such a statement usually means that the watch being referred to has a traditional feel and this is true in this case; the Robina. It’s totally English, serene of face, beautifully formed, graceful and unpretentious.

Maurice Lacroix Pontos Chronographe

When a watch comes along at a price point which allows indulgence, has elegance, eye appeal, which fulfils its maker’s mantra of contemporary design and manufacturing excellence, choice should not be an issue. Indulgence is the answer.

Chronoswiss Regulateur 30

“Don’t be seduced by a pretty face”. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. The caveats ring out, but seduced I am.     Chronoswiss with its limited output again presents a watch in limited edition, two limited editions in fact, 130 pieces in 1...

Salon QP

Britain has an illustrious history in watch making. Now the words “Made in Britain” are proudly displayed on the dials of British made timepieces such as those of Robert Loomes & Co. The skills and innovation is still alive. Names like John...

Chopard L.U.C XPS

Renowned since 1860 for the creation of peerless jewellery Chopard’s foray into the world of watch making is much more recent.  Its watch making manufacture was established in 1996. Recency in terms of haute horology manufacture does not diminish ...

Harry Winston Midnight Automatic in rose gold

Harry Winston The name has magic. What woman does not love precious jewels? No name has closer ties with exquisite offerings than Harry Winston. Marilyn huskily added his name to Tiffany’s and Cartier and pleaded “Talk to me Harry Winston” as she ...
